St. John’s Youth Group

The St. John’s Youth Group is an amazing group of enthusiastic young people. This group is for grades 4 – high school, who are actively learning and growing in their faith through social interaction, fun activities, praying for each other, and learning God’s word. Learning about being good stewards at church, at home, and in the world.

We meet bi-weekly, Friday nights 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm to talk, have snacks, work on activities happening in the church and our community, or do outings like laser tag, mini-putt, games nights, etc. For more information or updates, please contact the church office or follow us on Facebook!

Painting Night

The Youth Group had a blast at our Painting Party facilitated by Tina & Tammy from The Tiny Art Shack. They did a great job at encouraging the children to be as creative as they wanted with their artwork. As you can see, each piece is unique, just like the children who created them. If you are looking for Canadian-made items to give as gifts this holiday season, consider supporting this local business.

Youth Group with Rev. David

Twenty-one kids joined us for games and an awesome presentation by Rev. David. He shared his collection of masks from around the world. We collected for our World Vision donation and would love to help people who are hungry and need school supplies. We ended the night with great games and Lois’s caramel corn!

Youth Group Fun

The St. John’s Youth Group is focused on growing and learning as Christians by participating in community outreach activities, global social justice issues, enjoying fun fellowship together, and providing a place where everyone is accepted for who they are. Oh, and did we mention we LOVE Krista’s group games?
