Youth Group
We offer a connecting place where youth grades 6- 10+ can better get
to know each other, themselves and God through fun and meaningful
ways. We meet every other Tuesday night, plus special events and
activities. All welcome! Any time!

United Church Women (UCW)
The UCW have formal meetings four times a
year. They are active in many church
activities including such things as:
- Spring Luncheon and Bazaar
- November Turkey Supper (Special committee of the church)
- Outreach programs to visit shut-ins
- A "Welcome Back" barbecue in September
- Special assistance to Midland Crisis Centre
- Assistance to Camp Simpresca
- Cater to local organizations" banquets
(Maple Syrup Festival, Flos Agricultural Society, Retired Teachers
Group, etc)
- Hold funeral lunches for our deceased
family's members
- Host two "open house" coffee parties a
year. This is one way of thanking everyone for their assistance
- Give Christmas boxes to our shut-ins
every December
Special Music Groups
A variety of musical styles is the
hallmark of our worship services.
| The Praise Team The St. John’s Praise Team brings
contemporary Christian music to the congregation one Sunday per month. With
two guitars, a piano and four vocals, the songs are sometimes rocking,
sometimes meditative, but always praising God and telling about the
wonderful love of Jesus.
Our practice times are filled with singing, sharing and prayer time, with a
healthy measure of laughter thrown in. There are no notes to follow, so we
learn by hearing and sharing the melody from one to another. New members are
always welcome, to help us “Experience, deepen and share the love of Jesus”.

Senior Choir
Our choir enjoys weekly rehearsals
as well as social times. We welcome new members! Come join us!

We sing our hearts out on
Sunday morning and promote having fun in the
practices on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
We invite others to join
us for our special productions like the Christmas
and Easter Cantatas. |

participate in our services at the Church and in our
community with Christmas caroling and at special activities
such as the gospel sing at Heritage Park. |
