High Seas Adventure Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School was a huge success this year. For five special
days in August, our High Seas Adventure took over St. John's. This
exciting ministry brought together the young and the experienced as
we explored how God's love is true, comforting, surprising,
life-changing and for everyone. 55 children from our church
community and beyond participated along with over 20 leaders who
volunteered their time and talent. As a mission project, we
collected donations for the food bank and we were able to provide
200 pounds of food for those in need. Our High Seas Adventure
reminded us how special children are and how we can learn and grow
in God's love together. After all, Jesus said, "Let the little
children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of
heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
