MARG BELL’S 95th BIRTHDAY
September 10th , 2011, marks the 95th birthday of Marg Bell of
Elmvale. Being one of four children raised during the roaring
twenties, the dirty thirties and then sending a husband off to the
Second World War, her church life has been a tremendous support to
her. She started Sunday School at Allenwood Methodist Church and
then moved to Elmvale to attend St. John’s United Church. At St.
John’s, Marg taught Sunday School, was Secretary of the Joy Group,
Envelope Steward, a member of the Committee the built the Christian
Education Wing, Secretary of the U.C.W. and is now a Life Member of
the United Church Women. Her strong faith, terrific sense of humour
and the loving support of her St. John’s family have brought her to
this happy occasion.
